How to play

Prepare, enter the jungle, and question what you see

The official material frames each run as a treasure expedition: prepare aboard the galleon, choose equipment, explore for riches, and use communication to survive a sanity system that can make teammates see different realities.

A four-part expedition

  1. Prepare on the galleon.Review the expedition and divide weapons or equipment before entering the jungle.
  2. Choose where to begin. The official description presents the mainland as an area to explore rather than a fixed corridor.
  3. Search for treasure and records.Gather riches while looking for forts and logbooks that can help future expeditions.
  4. Return with what you can keep. The run is built around risk, treasure, and the pressure created by hostile creatures and altered perception.

Your senses are not a reliable HUD

Xbox Wire says the sanity system has no simple warning meter. Hallucinations can alter the environment, audio, and even how teammates appear. Different players may receive different information at the same moment.

Official survival principle

Communicate what each player sees and hears. Agreement between teammates is part of checking what is real.

What to verify in the current build

  • Exact contract rewards and extraction conditions
  • Item controls and medallion behavior
  • Enemy-specific counters and puzzle solutions
  • Checkpoint, save, and matchmaking rules

Those details are intentionally left out until they can be checked against the live game or an explicit official source.
